completed mural in beacon hill!

I recently finished this mural, Starting the Garden, in Beacon Hill, a super diverse neighborhood in Seattle. The piece, designed to be bright and bold, depicts a young girl planting a ginger root. Here are a couple pics of the process and the mural dedication, which included a traditional Chinese Lion Dance.

New Kites for Almost Home Kids

Here are a couple pics of the newest kite sculpture I just finished for Almost Home Kids in Naperville, Illinois. The kites will soon be joined by other fun stuff for their new peace garden. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Happy Father’s Day!

I’m a little late with this post, but here’s a little painting I made for my dad from one of my favorite childhood photographs.

Boy was that yard the best!

Concrete Stuff…

I’ve been revisiting an idea from way back in college… some mixed media concrete pieces that highlight the interaction between nature and sidewalks. Here are a few experiments!
